A DFT (Dry Film Thickness) Coating Thickness Gauge is a device used to measure the thickness of a coating on a substrate. It is commonly used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, marine, and construction to ensure that coatings are applied correctly and meet the required specifications.The gauge works by using a non-destructive method to measure the thickness of a coating without damaging it. It does this by using one of two methods: magnetic induction or eddy current.
